The Lotte Strauss Prize recognizes meritorious work by an individual 40 years of age or younger
in a subject germane to pediatric pathology, published or accepted for publication during the year
immediately preceding the award.
The winner will receive a $1000 cash prize and expenses to attend and present at the following Fall
Interim Meeting of the SPP.
Nomination requires electronic submission of:
- a copy of the paper as a .pdf file;
- a letter from the nominee or sponsor (if the nominee is not an SPP member) explaining the nominee's contribution to the work and the contribution of the paper
to the field of pediatric pathology;
- a copy of the nominee's curriculum vitae
Items 2 and 3 may be .pdf files or in a standard word processing format.
Nominations will be reviewed by the awards committee and the award will be announced at the Annual Spring
SPP Meeting.
